A B O V E

Near Paiiyu, Parbat.

the smell of fresh air,
a glint of sunlight,
& the leafless trees.

10th January,
Tuesday, 2017.

Blue bright beautiful skies are lies when you come across clouds blanketed in order to keep the landscapes warm. My first reaction when I saw those clouds were, "I wish I could grab one around myself". Well, it was cold there. I was a bit thirsty and the idea of peeing somewhere on the dusty road got me thinking it's better to act quietly for a while.

I haven't travelled alone yet, I'm writing a travelogue as if I have...  pfft! Well, I hope that day will arrive sometime in the future. For now, let me cover you up with my not-solo-travelogues! Yay!

Winter and its early mornings. The cold breeze hugging us forcefully got my nose all red and sneezy. Thankfully, it didn't last as long as I thought it would. While the sun clouds started clearing the sky for the sun to enter the frame, it had already been warm enough to ditch the jacket I was wearing. A few hours ago, I was the crybaby who was asking for a scarf on top of that.

The journey from Syangja to Paiiyu took us around 3/4 hours (To be honest, I can't remember that. I made a guess to sound a bit confident), roadways. I was travelling with my family. We didn't really have to worry about feeding ourselves on the way; we were all full (especially me). And we had some stuff for backups cause you know, my brother likes to crave for food where we can't even find a local stall. I think I pity him but sometimes I find that unnecessary when it has just been 30 minutes since we last ate.

Parbat is the district of hills. Undoubtedly, we were welcomed by huge hills surrounding us from all the four directions we could track on our compass; We had just reached our destination!

Amidst the magnificent scenery, there lied a tiny village. The first thing I can remember of the place is the flowing river that we had to cross by foot. Fresh from the mountains, walking on top of the uniquely shaped rocks felt ticklish and splashing the cold water was obviously fun. After having spent our day there, we decided to head back to where we began our journey. Not Kathmandu yet, just a few kilometres back and they were memories to be recalled.

Well, I'm not really sure what else should I share here. I might bore you guys if I keep on writing what happened next but don't worry, I'm still working on the patterns for this series so stay tuned!

Also, I'm extra sorry for not uploading additional pictures. My phone's storage capacity was full so I couldn't take many photographs. So I think I'm glad that at least I have a picture of that trip to have attached it here. *shamelessly smiles*

I hope to see you soon with an interesting travelogue. Thank you for reading! (:

| about the series |

There are times when we get lost within the reverberating thoughts of the things around us.

Welcome to my tiny part of the internet where I post about my travel stories that have been echoing inside myself unless I share them.

I'm all set to guide you on this virtual tour. You better get ready with your helmets and safety gears because I'm going to throw lames jokes at you along this journey.

I want to re-wind my adventures so that both of us can have an amazing time together. Yay!
